你自己的设备

电脑: We recommend the following minimums:

  • An Intel i5 processor
  • 8GB of Memory (RAM)
  • 250 GB Solid State Hard Drive
  • 13”屏幕
  • A four-year warranty to ensure the laptop lasts for your academic career.

NOTE Chromebooks will NOT work with a majority of our services so we do not recommend them.

游戏系统: If you wish to bring a gaming device (e.g. 游戏机, 任天堂, or XBox) you can find information about how to set it up on the witt-air wireless on this page http://www.chicagolady1.com/administration/informationtechnology/wittenberg-campus-wireless#wittair

打印机: There are printers through out campus that are available for students to print to, including in the residence halls. Students are provided with a budget each semester to print from which should cover printing. So bringing a printer is not required. If you do decided to bring a printer, be aware that we do NOT allow wireless printers on campus, so you will want to consider one without wireless capabilities.

其他物品: Some other items to consider bringing include a carrying case if you are bringing a notebook. A power strip with surge protection, as there a limited outlets in some places. An ethernet cable is handy, but with campus wireless you may not need one.
